Tablets "Laripront" - one of the preparations of a wide spectrum of action, which is used for various inflammations of the oral cavity of various etiologies. The components of Laripront, dequalinium chloride and lysozyme hydrochloride, inhibit the growth of Candida microbes, viruses and fungi, which are often the cause of various inflammatory processes in the mouth, throat and larynx, as the ability of the body to resist the disease decreases.

In particular, in the annotations to the various batches of the Laripront tablet production, the instruction explains that the enzyme lysozyme hydrochloride interacting with viruses reduces their ability to penetrate into it, thus having an antiviral effect.

The antimicrobial effect of the drug is due, on the one hand, to the ability of devalalinium chloride to reduce the surface tension, and on the other hand, by the action of lysozyme, which penetrates through the cell membranes and inhibits the development of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, as well as fungal formations, thereby manifestingproperties of antiseptic.

In addition to anti-inflammatory, lysozyme also has mucolytic and hemostatic effects, blocking histamine, deactivating heparin and splitting mucopolysaccharides.

All these properties determine the breadth of the application area of ​​the drug "Laripront", the instruction to which prescribes its use for the treatment of a whole range of diseases of the oral cavity, pharynx and larynx. Namely:

• tonsillitis;
• laryngitis;
• pharyngitis;
• of periodontal inflammation;
• stomatitis;
• preparation for surgical operations in the oral cavity and postoperative period.

Laripront tablets - instructions for use

Take Lapipront every 1 tablet every two hours, keeping it in your mouth or under the root of the tongue until it dissolves completely.

Regarding contraindications for taking Laripront, the instruction informs about the possibility of allergic reactions to individual components of the drug. Often these reactions are quite long and have unpleasant consequences for the body. Therefore, Laripront tablets for children and pregnant women should be used with caution.

Moreover, children are not always able to keep in their mouth an unpleasant tingling mucous membrane tablet, and most often either swallow it, or simply spit out, thereby nullifying the effect of the drug. However, for infants, you can dissolve one fourth of the tablet in a small amount of water, dip this mixture with a pacifier and give the baby. In any case, before starting treatment of children with the drug "Laripront", you need to consult a pediatrician.

Alternatively, other drugs with a similar effect can be used to reduce oral infection. For example, the agent "Geksoral" in the form of an aerosol.

Concerning compatibility with other means it is possible to say that the drug "Laripront" instruction does not advise to apply simultaneously with them.

"Laripront" medication can be used as a preventive agent - the effectiveness of this drug will be higher than during admission already with illness. It is also better to take the medicine "Laripront" when the first symptoms of acute respiratory viral infection appear.

The duration of the course of treatment with the drug "Laripront" does not specify the instruction. Like the dosage, the length of the treatment period depends on the disease itself, and also on the degree of its severity. The effect of the drug is of an individual nature - someone helps at once, but someone does not. In some cases, the use of "Laripront" does not bring any result.
