Exudative diathesis: treatment and prevention

Many children at the earliest age experience various allergic reactions. Most often there is exudative diathesis, which occurs in due to the sensitivity of the infant's skin to external stimuli.

As a rule, exudative diathesis in children manifests itself in the first months of life, and especially often - immediately after birth. There are such allergic reactions mainly from foods eaten by the nursing mother. That is why pediatricians so insist on the observance of a woman's diet during lactation. Factors that cause exudative diathesis may be climatic conditions, chemical and mechanical irritants, and this skin disease can occur as a reaction to the vaccination.

The main symptoms that indicate exudative diathesis include redness on the cheeks, roughness and peeling of the skin. After some time, on the staining site, wet eczema may appear with an unpleasant itch. A child with this disease on the mucous membranes is often observed inflammatory processes. Therefore, they have a runny nose, conjunctivitis, blepharitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, recurrent bronchitis.

The earliest signs of the development of this form of diathesis is the appearance of sebaceous seborrheic scales on the head of a child around the fontanel. Such formation has the property of spreading rapidly enough over other parts of the body and developing, as a result of which the appearance of eczema is observed in children at such an early age.

The behavior of children with this disease also has its own characteristics: they are either all the time irritable, loud and capricious, or calm, sluggish and inactive. Zolotuch, or exudative diathesis, is treatable very difficult and not always successful, even despite modern methods of determining the allergen. Even the fact that at present many children's polyclinics are equipped with special equipment does not help, and in any pharmacy it is possible to purchase a medicine designed to eliminate this problem.

Diathesis is first and foremost a manifestation of the internal state of the body, therefore, treatment should not take place outside, but from within. Traditional medicine has in its arsenal many methods of treatment of exudative diathesis.

Folk methods against exudative diathesis:

  1. It is considered effective to use the inside of a string. To do this, take half a liter of boiled water 20 g of grass, then insisted for 12 hours.
  2. For the treatment of diathesis use this recipe: take 5 grams of rhizomes of elecampane, leaves of gentian and yarrow, pour 0.5 l of water, boil for 10 minutes. The resulting broth insists half an hour and take one spoon three times a day. Treatment lasts from 1 to 2 months.
  3. Since ancient times, people use fir oil. Today, add to it a baby cream or olive oil with vitamin C and lubricate skin areas affected by exudative diathesis.
  4. Effective in the treatment of the disease and infusion of dandelion, which is poured with boiling water and insists no more than 2 hours. Drink half an hour before meals a fourth of the glass three times a day.
  5. When diathesis proceeds, it is very useful to take herbal baths: they have a soothing, anti-inflammatory, bactericidal effect on the child's inflamed skin. The temperature of the water for taking the procedures should be moderately warm.

It is very important at a very early age to prevent the occurrence of diathesis, which primarily consists in organizing the proper nutrition of children. Parents should also abandon those products that can become allergens for the child, because children with a ban on certain foods can develop a sense of inferiority.
