• Surgical laser wart removal is a new advanced method of therapy. There is an evaporation of skin cells( using an erbium laser) or coagulation - the so-called "folding" of affected cells( a carbon dioxide laser is used).The laser only affects the altered cells of the wart, without damaging the surrounding healthy cells. The advantages of minimizing the traumatism of the operation should be considered as pluses.

What does folk medicine tell us about this? Some tips on how to treat warts with "folk" remedies:

1. Treatment with celandine juice. This is one of the most common methods. To tear off the stalk of celandine, the juice must be applied to the wart. It is best to do this when the plant blooms. The procedure should be repeated daily in the morning and in the evening.
2. Onion gruel. Apply directly to the wart. Wet the skin around the wart with petroleum jelly. Apply daily in the morning and in the evening for 12 days. Instead of onions, you can use garlic.
3. A good cure for warts is the usual table vinegar - apply undiluted to the wart or make a gruel made of flour and vinegar.

There are very exotic "grandmother's recipes."No one knows how this works and why warts are passed. Almost mystical treatment options that have been practiced for a long time and, it must be said, are not unsuccessful:

• Take an apple, cut it into two halves using a thread. To each of the halves to rub the wart. Half of the apple is folded and tied with the same thread. Then this apple needs to be buried. When it decays, the warts will disappear.
• Take the thread and tie it three times in a bundle over the wart. Then bury this thread in a flowerpot saying: "As the thread rots, the wart will disappear."
